COME PLAY, GET WEIRD, AND LEARN HOW TO TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS in this six-week improv course for both beginners and intermediates! We’ll teach you how to build strong characters, believable worlds, and clear scenes that actually work. NO overthinking, just full-throttle commitment and fun! You’ll learn: •Guiding principles and rules •Active listening •Rules are gifts! •Spacework basics •Relationship building •Status awareness •Emotional commitment •Strong endings •AND SO MUCH MORE! The course finishes with a live performance where YOU bring it all together, take a bow, and walk away with a sharper sense of confidence both on and off the stage. Taught by LOLA GILMORE: Lola Gilmore is an improv, sketch, and stand-up comedian based in New York. A recent graduate of the University of Southern California’s School of Dramatic Arts, Lola has gone from directing SoCal’s #1 college comedy team to serving as Director of Comedy at Reverie Room. Lola believes that comedy is all about trusting yourself, and the funny will follow. She also believes the Earth is flat.

Please note: Classes are non-refundable or transferrable unless the classes are cancelled or rescheduled. The venue is located upstairs and is not handicap accessible. No alcohol is allowed in the space. Participants are expected to arrive on time and prepared to learn and HAVE FUN!
