Write Up the Steps: Bodega Screenwriting Edition!
The bodega is the film set… you just haven’t written the script yet.
In this Write Up The Steps session, we’ll borrow from our favorite film, TV, and literature to shape our own stories, then descend into the bodega to collect real-life inspiration. Back upstairs, you’ll write a movie scene, a TV pilot, or a short story sparked by what you saw, overheard, or imagined in between the snacks and strangers.
Where: The Reverie Room (up the steps of the bodega)
When: Saturday, June 28 , 2–4 PM
Cost: $10 online ticket + $10 bodega minimum at the door (Arrive 10-15 minutes early)
